Mission Statement
Vision, Philosophy, Core Values of The Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital
From the establishment of Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital in the 1950's by Dr. Brandt, until the present, there has been a seamless continuation of basic standards by which our practices and personal professional lives are conducted. Our philosphy and core values are to provide high quality medical, surgical and dental care to our patients in facilities that are clean, pleasant, and equipped with the contemporary medical equipment and technology. Our business and management standards allow us to practice in a profitable environment, which in turn underwrites our desired goals. Communicating with our clients on a personal level has always been one of the "bedrocks" of our practice success. We have the highest standards of our staff, and have always hired intelligent, motivated, kind and empathetic employees. We continually strive to subscribe to the standards put forth by AAHA, the AVMA, and our state examining board.
We also have a philosophy of community involvement, public service and we maintain an active positive relationship with our veterinary practices in our community. Our doctors have traditionally been the impetus behind other local veterinary association, and act as abassadors to keep our veterinary community united and cooperative. We also groom and maintain a positive relationship with our local human medical community.
Our vision is to continue the aforementioned values and philosophies, and instill them into the younger doctors who will one day carry on the work that we so love and enjoy. As the face of veterinary medicine and society change, we too will change, but will not waiver from our self-imposed high standards.
